Our ever growing concern for the environment compelled us to offer an eco-friendly document conversion solution that enables federal, state, and private sector customers to unlock the true value of the information contained in their paper, microfilm and microfiche files. Maintaining an archaic paper, microfiche or microfilm archive is not only very costly, it’s time consuming and file sharing can be very cumbersome. When not managed correctly, documents deteriorate, tear and bend which causes companies to lose more and more valuable irreplaceable data with each passing day. Instead of dealing with file cabinets or off-site storage, your documents can be filed digitally to a DVD, SFTP or online in a secured web-based document repository solution. The MAJ DCS solution is turnkey and creates a unified platform that fits seamlessly into your existing IT infrastructure which allows users across an organization to easily search, store and securely retrieve their digitalized content through a cloud-based document management solution.
Depending on your needs, your boxed documents can be picked up by approved MAJ personnel, or shipped directly to our secure conversion facility or scanning can be performed on-site at your location. The choice is yours.
Upon receiving your first standard size bakers box (10"H x 12"W x 15"D), we will immediately scan the documents. The digital images will then be sent to you to review and approve online before your project proceeds.
We will establish a repository for your scanned documents in a secured cloud portal which will allow you to access files from any location, review documents as they’re converted and track the status of your scanning project until completion.
Apart from paper, microfiche and microfilm documents, our DCS facility is equipped to handle the conversion of a variety of document types. Files can be as small as business cards and receipts or oversized such as posters and banners.
All scanned documents are tagged, labeled, indexed and have OCR capabilities which allows you to quickly and easily search and retrieve files.
The appointed MAJ Quality Lead will perform a series of QA reviews of the scanned files to ensure that indexing capabilities are implemented, no variation is introduced into the conversion process and that all imaging requirements are met.
